THE CHALLENGE:
After deciding to pursue a dream of starting her own business, Photographer and Artist Sandy Sparks asked Digital Slingshot to create an e-commerce website for the purpose of displaying custom Frames Photos and Stationary. The Website would have to reflect Sandy’s creative style and allow for Dynamic displays of Frames and Mats and a unique “Trilogy” feature allowing the customer to build their own custom framed artwork. The site would have to be administrated by the store owner and also integrate with USPS for shipping and e-processing Network for Merchant services.
THE RESPONSE:
After carefully evaluating Sandy’s needs, Digital Slingshot was able to create a visually stimulating website that allowed the user to add personal tastes and style to every Photo offered for sale. We designed a system of Frames and Mats that will change appearance on screen as the user selects from a drop down list of choices. The “Trilogy” feature came together beautifully allowing the user to see their trilogy build right before there eyes. Shipping and Handling costs are calculated at checkout using a live connecting to USPS and Credit Card approval is live via E-Processing Network. The site owner has full control of all products, categories, frames, mats, descriptions and more through the latest version of the Digital Slingshot Website Admin allowing her to maintain the website with very little web knowledge and no special software besides a web browser and internet connection. Due the aesthetically pleasing site design and advanced features Digital Slingshot is proud to have assisted Sandy in following her dreams. |
